Indeed, the amount of cats is relatively small: only about one percent of the web can be attributed to cats (https://www.reddit.com/r/estimation/comments/2fllbi/what_percentage_of_daily_internet_traffic_is_cats/ckah41u/). The question remains whether or not computer would have developed likewise if the developers had known that the amount of felines that will be processed would be this low.
